With nearly $200,000 raised the Stars of Hastings Dance for Cancer looks like being a run away hit with the Community once again.
The event which is being held on Friday 17 June will be one of the highlights of the Port Macquarie Hastings Social Scene. Trevor Groeneveld, Director of Thrumster Business Park said, “This is such a worth while event, which raises much needed money for the fight against Cancer. We have all been toughed by this disease in some shape of form and I was pleased to do a little bit to support”
Thrumster Business Park contributed to the fund raising efforts of dancer extraordinaire, Dagmara Saacks. Dagmara and Eric Saacks have two amazing children, Paulina and Alexander. Dagmara constantly challenges herself to explore new hobbies, loves travelling with family, immersing herself in various cultures and embracing new experiences.
Working with patients and families on a daily basis at Saacks Orthodontics, Dagmara is deeply aware of the number of families that are affected by Cancer and the devastation that results. Dagmara and Eric have lost family members due to this dreaded disease.
